Message from President

Thank you for your interest in our updated website. We hope that the new format will make navigation and locating information easier. We encourage and appreciate any feedback on your experience with the site.

After many years of financial challenges, the non-profit community has demonstrated great resilience and innovation in its ability to continue providing services in the community. Early in the economic downturn, we noted that applications for funding were primarily for the purpose of sustaining current levels of service and operations. Consequently, we funded very few new programs during that time. In response to the prolonged economic challenges, we are seeing more requests for funding innovations in all areas of operations. These applications address improvements in efficiency, and developing new or improved income streams.

In spite of the economic challenges, Cape Fear Memorial Foundation has been able to maintain its annual funding levels and anticipates that funding levels will remain fairly consistent going forward. The Board and Staff of Cape Fear Memorial Foundation admire the determination and drive of our partners in Southeastern North Carolina. We are so thankful for your hard work and dedication to our communities.
