Grant Eligibility from Cape Fear Memorial Foundation

An organization may be eligible for a grant from the Foundation if it is qualified under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and it is not a private, non-operating foundation (as defined by Section 509(a) of the Code), or if it is a public instrumentality involved in providing services to improve the general health and welfare of the community. Qualifying organizations must be located within an approximate 50 mile radius of Wilmington, North Carolina. Grants will not be made to individuals or to for-profit organizations.
